What Does This Ultrasound Report During Early Pregnancy Indicate?

default
Posted on Sat, 18 Jun 2016
Question: I went into the ER today because I was having sharp pains in my lower abdomin on my left side. I have not had any bleeding. They did a transnational ultrasound and found an empty sac measuring 6 weeks and 2 days. The doctor said my hormone levels look normal for someone 1-10 weeks. And it could be too soon to tell what's going on. Is this normal? I'm going to follow up with a doctor as soon as I can get in I'm just worried, this is my first pregnancy.

Wait till another USG as told by your doctor. Its too early to comment on as you might not have reached the stage and the findings could be misleading at this stage.Things get clear by next USG.Get the hormonal levels for to know the rising hormonal trend.

Its very difficult to say at this stage, as you could be before that stage yet.

Its too early to comment on this, as the sac is still empty. Fetal pole and heart beats could be missed at this stage, as you might be too early to reach that stage yet.
