What Does This Ultrasonongraphy Report Indicate?
Question: Hi..... I am 27 years old and never married, due to some employment process I have to undergo few tests including USG. All the reports are normal but for USG the report says bilateral bulky ovaries with ovary size being 15.9cc and 9.7cc in volume respectively. I dont have any pain before and my cycles are regular as well. Please confirm if the report is normal or it isnt and if I would hve ny problm in case of employment?

The radiologist seemed to be very surprised while doing USG n hence I needed to ask this. Sir, please confirm if my reports are normal, because he said it may be PCOS. Please advise.

This is becoming quite common and is seen very frequently in many female patients.
If you have no symptoms related to your daily life, menstrual periods there is nothing to worry about.
If you wish you can get an opinion of a Gynecologist just to seek a second opinion.
In PCOS, there is an appearance of XXXXXXX around the periphery of the ovaries due to un-ruptured follicles, which is not mentioned in in the report.
Since you are 27, very young, must be enthusiastic and may be an ambitious girl, single, these changes in the ovaries are expected.
I can suggest a few things:
Stop junk food completely.
Sound sleep of minimum 6 to 8 hours at any cost.
Mild exercised to relax mind and body.
