Question: I underwent T3, T4, and TSH test last year. Could you please let me know whether I have any issue related to Thyroid. Or, everything is well? I am attaching the report with my request.

Brief Answer:
Borderline TSH

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the query.

I have gone through your reports and found that T3 and T4 are within normal limits while TSH is on the borderline. It might be due to early stages of Subclinical hypothyroidism.

Subclinical hypothyroidism is a condition where the T3 and T4 are within normal limits and the TSH is mildly elevated. There is no treatment required and should be followed every 6 months for clinical hypothyroidism where there is need for treatment.

As your TSH levels on the borderline, I want you repeat the Thyroid profile after 3 months. If the TSH levels are raised then you need to follow up every 6 months.

Hope this answers your query. If any further clarifications, will be happy to help you.

Regards.
