Nothing from the list is positive. So, in my case, what steps do I need to take next? Is subclinical hypothyroid a matter of concern in general?

Brief Answer:
not a concern but need follow up.

Detailed Answer:
dear XXXXX, as you said nothing is positive, i would like to emphasize have you done antibody tests. Please check your TPO and TGA antibodies. if they are also negative then weight loss and exercise is the answer to your query but if antibodies are positive , we need to start the treatment.

Hi doctor. AS suggested by you, I got tested for thyroid antibodies today and the results are as follows:
Anti Tg- 289 IU/ml
Anti TPO - 58.40 U/ml
AS you had told my earlier report was subclinical hypothyroidism. What can you say regarding the antibodies test? Do I need to start the treatment or medications? What does my antibodies test signify?

Brief Answer:
you need to start the treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXX, as your antibody profile is positive, you must start the treatment. or at least keep a close 6 monthly follow up with TSH and fT4. if the values go up on subsequent reporting , you will have to start the treatment.
regards!
