Question: Just had fit test for feccal occult come back very high. Should be <50
Mine was 397
Does this high score correlate to higher chance of cancer?

No, not at all. This test says that there is blood in the stool. This blood can come from the hemorrhoids, peptic ulcer or polyp. Only in 15% FOBT leads to cancer detection.
That is why this test is not reliable and all it gives is stress.
Moreover you have had colonoscopy 8 years ago. And it takes about 10 years for the colon cancer to develop.

So it makes this cancer hardly possible.
