Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I am Dr Mittal.
I think that you have the symptoms of gastritis and GERD.
Which is also evident on your report.
However, the symptom of excess flatus is usually unlikely with GERD.
Since you have not mentioned it, I assume you have no complaints of motions (constipation/loosestools), or abdominal distension. Do let me know if you do have these symptoms regularly.
As of now, I would suggest
1. Stop non veg diet completely
2. Avoid spices completely (even the small amount that you have said you take). Take bland diet.
3. Avoid beverages (even tea).
4. You might discuss with your treating doctor, and consider taking the tablet sompraz d twice a day.
5. The excess flatus might be due to the syrup. So bear with it temporarily. The syrup is needed, in view of your report. At a later date it may be reduced or stopped.
Feel free to contact me if any further clarifications are needed.
Best of luck, Dr Mittal
