What Does This Endometrial Thickness Of 25mm Indicate?

default
Posted on Tue, 4 Aug 2015
Question: My Endometrium is thickened at 25mm. No endometrial fluid seen. Is this very thick and what could it mean. Recommended SIS.
I also have uterine fibroids. with the largest measuring 4cm. Can that also cause endometrium thickening. They say that the uterus is of normal size. It is retroverted. There were no adnexal masses and my ovaries appear unremarkable.

Brief Answer:
Hysteroscopy and biopsy advised.

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am,
Sorry for the delay in my response.
You should consult your treating Gynecologist and get your endometrial biopsy and hysteroscopy test done to rule out endometrial cancer, polyphonic and fibroid.
As you are having high blood pressure, diabetes and endometrial hyperplasia with postmenopausal spotting, it is very important to rule out endometrial cancer.
Hope it is useful.
Please revert back to us with your biopsy report.
Good luck.
