What Does This Elastography Report Indicate?
Question: hi im XXXXXXX XXXX 31 male from XXXXXXX and i am suffering from acidity ,indigestion and stomach fullness.
regarding this, i have visited asian institute of gastroentrology XXXXXXX XXXXXXX on 14/01/2015.
my elastography reports are as follows:-
1. fatty infiltration of lever, no focal lesion
2. normal stiffness of the lever parenchyma noted on elastography with ARFI values ranging between 0.89-1.91 mt/sc and main value of 1.30 mt/sc
3. mild hydronephrosis and hydroureter on lt. side
my doctor Dr XXXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXX prescribed me ganaton total tablets along with lactifiber powder for constipation as well as orvas ft tablets for cholesterol.
but instead of taking these medicines for three long months i am still suffering from same discomforts for which i visited there ,plz suggest me is there any other medicine i should try and any recstrictions that should i follow ( im non alcoholic and non smoker after the treatment)

I appreciate your concern for the fatty liver with high cholesterol & acidity related stomach issue and constipation for which you have been prescribed Orvas Ft, Ganaton Total, & Lactifiber respectively.
Along with the above medications you need to take Vitamin E containing capsules which are effective in the treatment of Non alcoholic fatty liver.
Regarding the findings of hydroureter and hydronephrosis on the left side, it could be due to a stone in the left ureter that is blocking the urine flow and resulting the accumulation of the urine in the ureter (hydroureter) and kidney (hydronephrosis).
You must consult a urologist for further evaluation like kidney function tests and possible removal of the stone by lithotripsy.
Besides I would advise you the following:
1. Avoid fatty spicy n hot foods.
2. Take home cooked meals with less fat
3. Take plenty of oral fluids, fruits and vegetables.
4. Avoid carbonated soft drinks, etc.
5. Do regular exercise
6. Have a regular follow up with your treating gastro enterologist.

is it very serious something related to cirhosis of lever ,im very tensed is it any life threstening thing??

today i have visited doctor sujoy XXXXXXX of colombia asia hospital ,he saw all my reports and said me there is nothing inside and suggested me diovol liquid and sompraz d 40 tablet for one week.
and he has also suggest me to reduce my weight (current Wt. - 85.5 Kg), have to control my lifestyle in my daily routine, have to do some lite exercise in regular basis...
