See below!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for getting back to me with your laboratory findings. I have reviewed them fully and the details are presented below.

1. Your blood lipids are not great. Having abnormal lipids expose you to the potential problem of heart disease and other diseases related to blood vessels. You need to get on statins for this. In addition, healthy diet and regular exercise are recommended as adjunct measures.

2. If this test was done in a fasting state, then there is a possibility of you having diabetes. I will like that the glucose test be further controlled. Also, if you have symptoms of excessive thirst, frequent urination in large volumes, etc., kindly let me know as this might intimate that you have diabetes given the blood glucose value.

3. Your kidneys still show signs of failing but this is much better. Compared with the previous level, this moves you closer to 2 and an improved state rather. Keep up and hope you at least established contact with a nephrologist already for continued follow up.

4. PSA remains higher than normal. Given your age, I will suggest that this gets evaluated. However, PSA is often misleading and cannot be used as a reliable screening test for prostate cancer. Besides, most people with prostate cancer will not die from it but from other causes which has caused the medical community to be very cautious about this.

5. Your lymphocytes are not a major concern at this time.

I hope this helps, sheds more light on these results and allows for better understanding of what they mean. I wish you well and always let me know whenever you need us to talk about health related issues.

Kind regards!
