Question: My ALT and AST levels suddenly spiked. I suffered an ACUTE attack of indigestion and gas the day before the blood was drawn. Could this have something to do with it?

Went from ALT 46 in Dec of 2014 to 466 in Oct. 2015
AST from 27 in Dec 2014 to 288 in Oct. 2015

Hi,

Altered enzymes that might be because of many reasons ,but sudden elevation we need to rule out some type of hepatitis ,so please get HbSAg and Anti HCV by elisa method and also get an ultrasound abdomen to check out fatty liver or any chronic liver disease.
