Brief Answer:
In the image you have provided L3-L4 and L4-L5 discs show no abnormality

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

The image uploaded to this query shows MRI lumbar spine in sagittal section. It is T2 sequence and shows a posterior disc bulge and annular tear posteriorly.

Regarding L3-L4 and L4-L5, the discs look hydrated and this is normal.
The disc height is maintained in above levels.
The spinal canal looks normal.
From there features there is no obvious disc bulge or abnormality visualised in this image.

It is important to visualise the neural foramen because at times there can be para central or lateral disc bulges compressing on nerves and which is to be looked out for in the specific images showing neural foramina.
