Question: Hi Doctor,

Our doctor had asked my wife to undergo a Liver Function Test as she had pain in upper abdomen. She is 13 months pregnant now. We would like to request your help to understand the report. Attached is the report.

Thanks in response.

Brief Answer:
Normal report

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
I have reviewed the report.
The report is completely normal and the liver parameters are within normal range.
Upper pain abdomen can be due to gastritis, acid reflux or stretching of the ligaments due to the enlargement of the uterus.
She should get a upper abdomen ultrasound to assess the liver and other organs.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
