Brief Answer:
You may have thyphoid fever.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your widal test is positive for O and H antigen. It may be due to thyphoid fever or due to vaccination or anamnestic reaction (where the body produces large numbers of antibodies and the test becomes postive without a significant reaction). So an increasing titre is a more useful indicator than a single number alone. You should go for a repeat titre.

If you have fever then you could take a course of antibiotics like ciprofloxacin, with a doctors prescription. You should take bland diet and proper rest. You will be ok within short time.
For sore throat and eating problems you should take antibiotics and antihistaminics. Saline gargles are also helpful.
Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you a very good health.

Brief Answer:
Will explain you in details.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your widal test shows only slight increase in titre. Because 1:40 titre may be present normally. If you don't have any fever and symptoms of thyphoid then you should go for repeat titre. Because 1:80 titre dose not indicate thyphoid always. There are many other reasons also.
However if you have fever and symptoms then you can directly go with antibiotics treatment.

It is just a routine illness. No need to big worry for that. So don't worry. Just be relaxed. Take antibiotics accordingly. Take antipyretic as and when required.
You will be ok within short time.

Wish you a very good health.

if you still have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
