i am age 38 male my semen analysis
period of sexual absitence :3 days
liqufication time:30 mins
color:greywhite
volume:1.5 ml
viscosity: normal
reaction PH:8.0
sperm concetration:60.6 millions /ml
motility
rapid progresive:33 %
moderately progressive:26 %
sluggishly progressive: 24%
non motile: 17 %
Agglutination : nil
morphology: normal
fructose(qualitative):present
scrotum doppler:cyst measuring 5*5 mm noted in right epididymisimpression: right epididymal cyst
abdomen and kub scan:grade 1 fatty liver
is above mentioned is normal or problem and how to increase semen volume?

I understand your problem..

In semen analysis volume is less than 2 ml and rapidly motile sperms are less than 40%. Rest of the parameters are normal.

The methods to improve semen vol and motility include:
1.Avoid excessive heat in that area like hot water bath and job related heat like in welders, jeep drivers etc.
2.Wear loose cotton undergarments.
3. Avoid smoking, tobacco chewing, alcohol, drug abuse..
4. Eat a lots of friuts, friut juices mainly rich in Vit C like citus fruits, strawberry, kiwi etc and fresh green leafy vegetables.
5.Food rich in zinc like nuts, red meat, crabs, oysters and rich in selenium like liver, red meat and shell fish should be included in the diet.
6. L-carnitine sachets are available or tablets with multivitamin, minerals, L-carnitine, lycopene and antioxidants like Vit E is available in various trade names which should be taken daily for 3 months. Repeat semen analysis should be done after 3 months.

Small epidydymal cyst without any symptoms or pain needs no treatment. Keep a regular check up to see whether cyst size increases. If it increases or causes pain immediate attention and aspiration of cyst is required.

If you are having high cholesterol and hyperuricemia its better to avoid red meat and sea food. You can take the rest of the food items and the tablet which I mentioned earlier.

For your wife HSG is normal. She needs to get a follicular study to know the ovulation status. Multiple follicles in ovary can be seen normally without PCOD. Tubes are normal.

Epididymal cyst obstructing the tract can cause decreased sperm count. But the left epididymis is normal so volume cant be less due to that.

Right now you need not worry about that cyst, just keep a watch to know whether its growing or there is pain.
