Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
See occasionally epithelial cells can be found in Urine as a result of menstruation, pregnancy effects.
But just presence of epithelial cells that too occasional won't be a criteria for rejection.
However ongoing pregnancy can be one if the reason if the local authorities of that particular office have made that rule. Usually a female candidate who is pregnant is less preferred in a job as she would obviously go soon on maternity leaves.
If you have any further query please ask me.

She is not pregnant at this moment. She delivered a baby 15 months back. She is selected for Job of Scientist at Agricultural Research Service of XXXXXXX Council of Agricultural Research, Govt. of XXXXXXX Hence there is no question of local authority. The Government Hospital has checked it and in report they have written Urine test Epithelial cell- Occasional. Rest all parameters are perfect. Can a female candidate be unfit for a Government job only because she has Epithelial cell- Occasional in urine test.

Dear Friend.
No she can't be declared unfit for a government job just on the basis of occasional epithelial cells.
I suppose you are asking this just as a matter of curiosity. I don't think she had been rejected.
If yes she has been rejected please show me the paper on which they have documented the reason.
And if you are asking just because you are worried then don't worry she won't be rejected based on this.
If you have any further query please ask me.

Thank you. I have now discussed this with some other doctor friends also. They have also given same opinion. "The office people asked us to meet later to discuss!!! They said if we write this ' apka 12 baaj jayega', means you will be rejected for the job". You can understand the underlying meaning of this being in XXXXXXX Myself and my wife both are Doctorate in Life Sciences and was able to understand that they are just trying to pump money from us. I just needed a second opinion of specialist as you know "the work of expert must lie with expert" but only those without any wrong intention.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Dear Friend.
I understand what you mean to say.
Do one thing. Take her report to a government hospital. See a doctor (specialist) there in a routine way. Preferably go to SN Medical College XXXXXXX as that is the tertiary care centre.
Ask her that you want opinion for these epithelial cells.
She would say the same. Get it documented by her.
So you can present that government doctor's opinion as evidence.
I think your problem would be resolved.
