What Does The Following Urine Test Report Indicate?
Question: My urine culture shows; Culture
Value: 10,000-49,000 CFU/mL Klebsiella pneumoniae
I have frequent UTI's (usually ecoli)and have been on a daily dose of 250 mg dose of Cephalexin for about six months.
I also had a Cbc done at the same time.
Should I be concerned? I wouldn't normally, but my white count is 25.43. Due to it being the weekend, I'm assuming the doctor has not yet seen the results of the culture.

As an Urologist,i can understand your concern.
You should've written when the urine culture was done and it's sensitivity report.
Stop taking the cephalexin now. No harm will be done.
Kindly enclose all the reports,like blood tests and scan,if done.
If you're taking any other medications,mention that also.
Drink about ten glasses fluids daily.

2. Ultrasound scan -KUB,with residual urine.
