Question: My WIDAL test shows;
S. thyphi O 1/20
S. thyphi H 1/20
S. parathyphi AH 1/20
S. parathyphi BH 1/20

Note: SIGNIFICANT TITRE >1/80

What does this mean?

Hello

Findings suggests negative widal test(test for typhoid fever).
Titre value > or equal to 1 : 80 is considered as significant.
However,patient may need clinical correlation.
Patient may also need follow up after evaluation because widal test may be negative in first week of fever.
