Question: I had a ct for gall stones. What does this mean?
"The common bile duct is withn normal, but there is evidence of mild intrahepatic biliary dilation. The exact citiology for this in clear. Consider MRCP as clinically needed."
Blood test
Alkaline Phosphatase, S 275 iu/l
ALT (SGPT) 824 IUL
AST (SGOT 496
Glucose,Serum 125. H
Also
GAllbladder:
The gallbladder contains multiple echo genie shadowing intraluminal foci consistent with stones. No mural thickening or pericholccystic fluid.

Here is the explanation of those reports :
- The gallbladder has stones. There is no evident signs of its inflammation.
- The duct that connects the gallbladder with the liver is not dilated which means that stones have not blocked it. But there is a dilatation of the ducts within the liver which may have been caused by gallbladder stones or other causes. To find the cause of that it is recommended the other exam.
- Your liver function tests are elevated, which means that it is suffering and liver cells are getting destroyed which makes the liver enzymes high in the blood.
