What Does The Follicular Scan Report Indicate?

Question: Hi Doctor,

My sister got married 2 years back and last year she had a D& C followed by a miscarriage (at 12 weeks- no fetal heart beat)
Now trying to conceive, and has done scans for follicular study . Scan report attached

Can you please suggest on current ovulation status and future medication to be taken care

Also, she has got an onsite travel with her husband (Jan 16 - Mar 16). Can you please advice on things to be taken care in travel context

Hi,

I understand your concerns about infertility.

Your sister needs to take gonadotropins injection to increase her egg size.

She needs to take tablet clomid with her while going on-site

Let her lose weight if she is overweight.

Scan report shows left ovary - follicles in initial 2 scans and no follicle in 3rd scan in attached report
what does it mean - please updateAlso, if she conceives at onsite, can she travel by fight in 1-2 months kindly update

Hi,

Disappearance of follicle in third scan could be due to possible ovulation and egg release or error of scan doing person. Difficult to say.

She can travel back by flight even if she gets pregnant on-site. Not to worry.
