What Does Swelling At The Base Of The Neck After Rotator Cuff Surgery Indicate?

Question: i had rotator cuff surgery 3 weeks ago. on my post op visit my doctor said all was well
sine then
i notice a soft patch of swelling at the base of neck where neck and shoulder join
is this normal part of healing

In my opinion, this soft patch of the swelling has nothing to do with shoulder (rotator cuff) surgery. It could be due to some other reason.

Please, re-consult your surgeon regarding this soft swelling as this doesn't seem to be related.

Dr i should add that i was given a cell shot at the end of the rotator cuff surgeory

AND i also have knee arthritis and after the surgery i went back on predisone snd methrotrexate

Any effects from these meds?
