What Does Spotting With Painful Hemorrhagic Cyst On Left Ovary Indicate?
Question: I had a pelvic and pap smear on Wednesday this past week. The dr said she felt fibroids and sent me for an ultrasound. I had.my transvaginal ultrasound on Thursday. It was very painful. No fobroids showed up (dr said they were small) but I had a hemorrhagic cyst on my left ovary where it hurt so bad. Yesterday, Saturday, and today Sunday I'm spotting. Is this normal?

I think the vaginal examination or transvaginal ultrasound was done very strongly and it has given mild damage to your vaginal mucosa.
There is nothing to worry but as mostly they heal on their own.
If the spotting does not stop in 4-5 days do get it shown to a good gentle gynecologist.
