Detailed Answer:
Hi i am Dr Ahmed Aly
thanks for using HealthcareMagic site ,
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns ..

In my opinion i think you have a sort of arthritis maybe due to gout or rheumatoid . i do not think your upper pain in your ears is related to such symptoms may be a kind of inflammation .also post menopausal osteoporosis is more liable to happen in older females due to loss of reproductive hormones .
For my patients i suggest urine analysis , ASOT ( anti streptolysin o titre ) , Rf (rheumatoid factor ) , SUA ( serum uric acid ).
You may use painkillers like NSAIDS ( advil tabs ) when needed , hot massages with topical gels , B12 vitamin supplements , muscle relaxants , allow high fluid intake , avoid high salts and proteins meals , Physiotherapy sessions with a chiropractor and maintaining a physical active pattern will be helpful for most of cases .
If pain persists have these lab investigations done and send them to me or follow it up with your physician for proper evaluation and management to prevent further complications .

Detailed Answer:
sorry for late reply there was a connection problem .
Some researches say that it is a very rare syndrome of unknown etiology and difficult to treat . it is characterized by cluster headaches , and some doctors mentioned that it is related to cervical spinal autonomic cephalgia which may be a cause in your case .
Treatments may include gabapentin components which is mainly an anticonvulsant of long duration of action .
I think if you feel that you have symptoms like that you have to visit a good Ear , Nose and Throat specialist for better evaluation and management .
