Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Rubella IgG test in grey zone means the results are equivocal. It is not significant in pregnancy. Even if the IgG test is positive in pregnancy, it suggests that at some point of time in past, you had rubella infection.

At present, you are not having an infection. There is no need to worry.
You can have an anomaly scan of baby between 18-20 weeks.
Hope this answers your query. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Rakhi Tayal.

Hi I am now 31 years old. I am married since 3 years 8 months. I have one miscarriage after six months of my married life. After that we stopped planning for kids for about 1 and half years. So totally 2 years we managed by using some safety measures like condoms. Since 1 year and 8 months I am trying to get conceived. In these 3 years I had some disturbances like losing my both father-in-law and mother-in-law (due to health problems). One year back we have consulted doctor and investigations were done. All the test results are fine but they have detected tuberculosis in laparoscopy done. Now I am under treatment of Tuberculosis since 5 and half months. At the time of Laparoscopy that doctor tested for rubella in the month of July, 2011 and it is 0.68 and they gave me some vaccination. Again I have visited another doctor and now they tested for miscarriage and now the rubella is showing as 3.25. Along with TB medicines now I am taking treatment for rubella. My worry here is I badly need kids. Can any one tell me that what is my condition and how can I get conceived soon?

An echogenic foci (2 x 4mm) was found between the bowel and liver at the level of the stomach at the 20 week ultrasound. Is this the same as an echogenic bowel? Is this an indicator of chromosomal anomalities and would a Harmony or MaterniT21 test be recommended? The CMV and taxo came back negative. The parvo b19 IgM was negative, IgG positive. I think she is immune to rubella as well.
