What Does Purple Discoloration In Vagina Indicate?
Question: My 12 years alo daughter has the left interior lip of her vulba swallow and kind of purple-ish color. It's not painful, but it bothers her. No fever. No itchy. No discharge. Office Doctor is not open until Monday and I'm concern. It has been like this for 2 weeks, she tells me.

By what you quote it seems to be a minor injury due to pressure on labia minora on left. The possibilities could be a minor pressure injure which could have happened during sleep or lying on same side or a rubbing effect.
Purple color suggests that there could be accumulation of blood underneath it. This usually happens spontaneously if there's a bleeding disorder but unlikely as you didn't mention anything in history. Other remotest but nevertheless a possibility to be considered in this age group is masturbation which might not be divulged. I suggest you talk to her about this & if its so, rest assured. If not see your pediatrician on monday.
If there's pain you can give paracetamol, but avoid giving pain medicines like aspirin or other NSAID drugs.

What can I do to help her or diminish the injured? I understand that she is in that group age and she has assured me that is not an injured. So what can we do to make the swallow go down? Please and thank you.

Manipulation locally might cause infection. I'd there's fever or pain, I suggest giving paracetamol at 15mg/kg/dose every 6th hourly orally.
