What Does Protein Of 1+ In Urine Indicate?
Question: I took my medical exam for los angeles police department a week ago. I received a letter saying they found abnormal protein in urine. 1 + positive proetin was found but the specimen was a dipstick test. It also says the protein may be false positive too. I know for a fact prior to that i was not drinking enough water. Is this a serious problem or can it be corrected? Im on a strict diet at this time. I have no sickness or any deseases.

My question is even if it it there does it go away? Can the police department disqualify someone just for having it that much. Thank you .
