Brief Answer:
Depends on site if lesion.oral or genital

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering query.
You are free from HIV is clear from tests.
HSV 1 is a type if virus which causes herpes simplex .usually lesions around oral cavity.
But it can also occur in genital area.
If you had lesions in and around oral cavity then it is due to that.
It may be genital if symptoms in genital area.
Blood tests indicate presence of antibodies not site. It depends on site of lesions or symptoms manifested .
You can get back for any clarification.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
kiss or skin to skin or sexual intercourse

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.
HSV1 or 2 can be transmitted by one to another by sexual intercourse or by skin to skin contact or by kiss or by oral sex.it depends on site of lesion in both persons.
If the uninfected person comes in contact with infected person lesions the chances of transmission are higher.
You can get back for any clarification else please close the discussion and rate.
