Brief Answer:
Baby weight is good.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

It is good to hear she does not have such kind of health problems.

Since your baby growth and weight is good you need not to worry. Amniotic fluid index is also normal. And other kidney is absolutly normal.
I just suggest you do follow up with doctor to know about progression and to prevent premature delivery. Some times small size of cyst or simple cyst resolve themselves with out intervention.
I suggest your wife to maintain well hydration of body and take rest.
Here I am givig a link just go through it. here they detected it in early pregnacy by doing scan and same applies to late preagnacy as well.

Mostly no problem.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

As per your baby current weight and other measurments I can say that your baby is not having serious problem and more over your wife does not have any medical history like high blood pressure which can increase size of cyst.
Your baby will be healthy unless cyst increases in size.
I hope it will resolve after birth.

If you have nay quereis I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Explained below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Some cysts increase with progression of pregnancy or some (asymptomatic cyst) resolve by the end of pregnancy or after birth. (You can go through link which I have given earlier http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/0000 ).
If it is increase size at prsent it mostly depends upon mother health conditions or genetic mutaions. if it increases after birth it may be due to genetical mutations.

I have done lots of research and I have asked my colloegues about this. Most of them say that small cyst (<10mm) can resolve on it's own. Most of research say that they have seen child healthy after birth who had aymptomatic poly cystic during pregnancy. But It is difficult to say wheather it increase in size or resolve by the end of pregnancy or after birth. It depends upon baby health and mother health condition. As per your history and size of cyst it may resolve completely. Birth weight and growth of baby plays an important role in kidney function.
Diabetes, high blood pressure and dehydration can cause poly cystic. And genetic mutations and family history also cuases poly cystic.

I suggest you do not worry. In most cases poly cysts are bilateral. In your baby it is unilateral. Baby can lead normal life with it.

If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
