What Does Persistent Vomiting Indicate?
Question: if someone is doing vomiting again and again. what so ever she eat it comes out is this a symtoms of pregnency. and also she down few days before after had ipil

Hi,
Firstly thanks for your query.
Most likely she is having acute gastroenteritis or stomach flu.
Gastroenteritis is inflammation of gastric mucosa. Most commonly it limits itself in 10-14 days. Initially i would advice her to go for stool test to rule out to rule out Bacterial or Protozoal infection. As therapy with ciprofloxacin and metroniazle has to be taken if its bacterial or protozoal enteritis.
For Vomiting and nausea give her Zofran 4mg twice daily.
In cases like these I recommend adding a probiotic supplement daily . you will get good results within 24-48 hours
Try to give her a take lot of electrolytre's).
Drink plenty of orange juice and coconut water.
Keep her hydrated.
Keep a watch on her blood pressure if systolic is less then 100mm of hg then i.v therapy would be required.
Though its not pregnancy yet a urine pregnancy test can be done to be sure.
Its self limiting and with proper therapy would end in a few days.
