Brief Answer:

She may require brain imaging.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have noted your mother's clinical details. These findings are suggestive of the involvement of nerve in the scalp (skin over the head).

Initial treatment with medications such as pregabalin capsules or amitriptyline tablets should be tried.

If she does not feel better, she would require a brain imaging such as MRI brain to exclude any underlying cause.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
