Brief Answer:
carafate oral syrup.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having pain in throat with difficulty in swallowing.

Individuals who undergone Septoplasty under general anesthesia with endotacheal intubation will have postoperative pain for a certain period. If it is bothering some, need to add some more pain killers or change of antibiotics (in view of infection).

I suggest you to kindly attach the current prescription, to comment on your present status.

Mean time, take semisolid diet, plenty of fluids and take sucralfate oral syrup (over the counter carafate) 2tea spoons twice daily.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
