Brief Answer:
It is right hydrocele - needs surgery

Detailed Answer:
Hi... I have just read through the images and the reports of the kid. It is showing right sided hydrocele. This means accumulation of fluid around the right testicle and inside the sack of the testicle. It required surgery and evacuation and this the only and best treatment and also this will prevent recurrence too.

This is moderate fluid collection and requires surgical intervention definitely.

I suggest you go ahead with the surgery. My opinion is based on the reports provided and he is fit for surgery too. But the anesthetist during the pre-anesthetic check up may ask for some more investigations - if he feels they are essential - like PT and aPTT for seeing the bleeding and clotting capacity of the blood.

Brief Answer:
No specific machine - its a simple surgery

Detailed Answer:
Hi.....

1. No specific or advanced machine is needed. It's a very simple surgery mastered by doctors/ surgeons since ages.

2. PT and aPTT are tests done and recommended by anesthetists so that during surgery there won't be excessive blood loss. These tests are done to see if blood is clotting normally or not.

3. Expenses depend on the hospital and the surgeon performing the surgery. I cannot suggest on it.

But one important advice is to go ahead with a pediatric surgeon and not a general surgeon.

Regards - Dr. Sumanth
