The endoclips are used to prevent bleeding once they are cut. A small chunk of the polyp will be sent for microscopic testing which is called histology to ascertain that it is not cancerous.

----A large rectal mass extending 3 cm, 1 cm from anal verge, non obstructing, occupying more than 50% of circumference, biopsies taken. It says he needs an mri of pelvis.

== This seems like a tumor, a irregular non defined growth. This could be cancerous hence, removal at finding is not an option. A small chunk of it is sent for histology test. The treatment depends on the histology finding. MRI is to see whether the tumor has spread to local structures.

----hiatal hernia, z line at 42 cm, extending 2-3 cm, with mucosal islands of salmon colored mucosa, biopsies taken. mosaic pattern mucosa seen in the gastric body, antral and random gastric body biopsies obtained.
