Brief answer.....report shows that kidneys are passing significant amount of proteins in urine which means damage to kidneys
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
These reports show that large amount of proteins are being leaked in urine.
Proteins are found in blood and in normal individuals they are not found in urine.
Normally kidneys remove wastes from your body but if kidneys start leaking protein in urine, then it means there is damage to to kidneys.
Proteins are a very essential nutrient and should remain in body and not get leaked in urine.
This kidney damage is generally because of high blood pressure and uncontrolled diabetes, however there can other reasons also like old age or family history etc.
What to do....
Consult a nephrologist and get your father evaluated properly by getting various tests like CT or MRI,kidney biopsy etc.
Treatment would involve...
Keeping diabetes and blood pressure under control by proper medications
Avoiding drugs which damage kidneys
Dietary changes
Lifestyle changes like stopping smoking, loosing weight etc.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
