Brief Answer:
Dylipidemia

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,

Thanks for query and sharing reports for the month of 24 XXXXXXX 16.
I could note the following the lipid profile. It grossly denotes deranged lipid profile and impaired blood glucose.
Random Blood sugar is over 190mg/dl. It has to be repeated with Fasting Blood sugar and HbA1c to confirm.
Also
SERUM CHOLESTEROL 254 mg / dl
SERUM TRIGLYCERIDES 695 mg / dl
H D L CHOLESTEROL 32 mg / dl
L D L CHOLESTEROL 113 mg / dl
V L D L CHOLESTEROL 109 mg / dl
TOTAL / HDL CHOLESTEROL RATIO 7.9
LDL / HDL CHOLESTEROL RATIO 3.5

In my opinion you should immediately get to your current doctor who prescribed you blood pressure medication and ask for the prescription of the following:
1) Statin medication for cholesterol
2) Blood sugar medication for control of blood sugar (after getting fasting report)
3) Aspirin and Clopidogrel (which prevents platelet sticking)
4) Dietitian consult for proper diet plan.

Let me know if you have any questions on this opinion.
Brief Answer:
No

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Keep testing HbA1c every three months. 6.3 is just good control. YOu may not need medication for it. However it can progress further. This is called prediabetes range.
Some clinicians put anti diabetic drugs at this stage because of other risk that you may have like high cholesterol, heavy weight.

Thank you.

Thank you Doctor.

My fasting sugar is 110 to 120 and HbA1c is 6.3. Do I still need medication for Diabetes?

Any further suggestions?
