Question: Doc, My WBC -6.8, RBC -5.35, Platelet -130, Neutrophil 71%, Lymphocytes-22%,Monocytes -05%Eosinophils -02%, Basophils 00%, PCV-46.3%, MCV-86.5fl, MCH 28.2 pg, MCHC 32.6gm/dl,RDW 15.3%, tell me how to proceed

Brief Answer: Platelet count is towards lower side. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXX Thanks for writing to HCM Platelet count is towards lower side.Its normal limit is 150 - 400 x 109 per liter.Many diseases are associated with low platelet.You can repeat platelet count and need clinical correlation. WBC count is within normal.Differential values are also normal like neutrophil,lymphocyte,monocyte,eosinophil,basophil are normal. MCH,MCHC,MCV,PCV are also within normal limit.
