Question: what is the significance of thyroid t4 value of 10.9, when measured yesterday Apparently, it is understood that it sits near the maximum value of the normal range. What could be the method to reduce it to manageable limit. please advise.

Brief Answer:
Normal - nothing needs to be done

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.

Your T4 and TSH levels are well within normal limits. (Though T4 is high normal). That means your thyroid is producing enough of thyroid hormones(T3, T4). Nothing need to be done to decrease the function.

Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further queries I will be happy to help you
