Brief Answer:
It could be low risk or false positive.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thankyou for asking HCM.
I am doctor Maheshwari.

First I would like to know that why did you need to undergo this test?
Did your physician advise it after any complain ?
Or it was just a routine check up?
Also do you have family history of cardiac disease?

Since your Echo is fine but TMT is positive with other blood tests normal ,it could be false positive or very mild positive.

To confirm it ,I would suggest to repeat it again .

Since some time defective technique of conducting test can be the main factor of positive result. So make sure that all leads are correctly attached.

Else after TMT - Positive test cardiac angiography is option

To evaluate more about heart vessels(coronary arteries and their blood flow) other option is cardiologist intervention (second opinion) to decide medical treatment for example Aspirin 75mg according to repeated TMT test.

Hopefully my answer is helpful, please let me know if I need to clearify you more.

Regards,
Dr.Maheshwari

This was a routine check up. My ECG shows ST T changes.

5 years back I had same report, but Sr. Cardiologists told it was false positive that time.

Now some cardiologist advising me for CTA.

I do regular excercise even heavy cadio excercise but never felt any problem.

Please suggest.I am forgotten to tell that I have BP since last 8 years and now I take Telma H

Brief Answer:
Repeat the test

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Dear as last tmt test was 5 yrs back, and still you dont have any complain ,and besides tmt test your all reports are normal.Even nowadays young people are on antihypertensives and spending healthy life.So dont worry and before jumping for invasive test CTA ,I would suggest to repeat tmt test (non invasive),as even ST changes may occur due to artefact (defective technique) during conducting the test.
If repeated TMT test comes positive then CAT is adviced.
Wish you best of health.

Dr.Maheshwari
