What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

default
Posted on Fri, 26 May 2017
Question: My wife is in 19th week now and Initial First two scans went good and the baby formation was showing good and everything is normal and no Down syndrome .
On 24/4/2017 - We had third scan and she is currently in 19th week of pregnancy and we tool Anomoly Scan and the Radiologist said she did not notice one Kidney of the baby in the scan report and she wanted to us to take MRI Scan on the baby so she can see everything to confirm if all the organs are fine . I Have attached all the three different scans during pregnancy period taken from Initial checkup .
Later , We went to fetal MRI SCAN and I have attached the doctor prescription post Fetal MRI scan and also Fetal MRI SCAN Report . Even they could not identify the Kidney .
When I had conversation with my Doctor Post MRI scan , They said there is a small part i.e. where kidney was formed and the Left Kidney went up and it is working good however there are uncertain if the right kidney was formed or else was it not formed . They say they can see a Tissue near the right kidney place however cannot come to the conclusion what body part it is . They still not accurate if Right Kidney is missing or what that tissue is ..
Could you please provide more detailed answer for below queries :
What will MRI SCAN Report Give :
Will MRI SCAN gives the picture of organs orelse even the functionality of the organs if they are in working accurately :
Do you recommend any other scan in next 5-10 weeks to confirm about this Tissue :
How do we know if there is any problem to other organs bcos of missing Kidney and in which month we will be knowing that other organs will be effected :
Doctor said other organs are good for now and will there be possibility of other organs not functioning well later stages of pregnancy :
Are they any Anomalies :
How do we if Urine is Forming :
Please check and reply back if you want us to proceed with the pregnancy :
Will there be an issue in growing age if there is missing Kidney :
