Pus cells above 5 cells/hpf is considered significant. The usual symptoms of an urinary tract infections are

1. Fever with chills and rigor
2. Burning while urinating
3. Difficulty in passing urine

I suggest you to repeat the urine sample, urinary tract infection is uncommon in males.
Here is what you should do

1. Early morning bladder should be emptied, the second time the urine should be a mid stream sample, which means that the sample should be collected when half bladder is empty
2. Send urine for culture and sensitivity to know the organism that is growing
