Minimal peri hilar infiltrates are seen mostly with bronchitis and lung infection.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

My husband, has no symptoms. We discover this during a routine exams not more.
Actually he is reducing his number of cigarettes, and like csughing with green secretion.

I was afraid that this means lung tumor.

War do u think??
Thx.

Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Honestly speaking green phlegm is suggestive of lung infection more.
Early stages of lung tumour is also look like lung infection.
So I need to see the x ray image for better understanding.
So can you please send me image of his chest x ray? This would be of great help in answering you.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Ask him to quit smoking completely.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
If chest x ray image is there then it would be of great help.
Anyways, since you are not having x ray plate, we can't do anything for this.
This x ray report is mostly due to his smoking habit.
Once he quits smoking completely, he will be alright.
No need to worry for lung tumour. But if continues to smoke, probability of lung tumour will be more.
So better to counsel him for smoking cessation.
