Question: Hi. My girlfriend and I are trying to abort using arthrotec. She was prescribed to take 4 under the tongue for 30 minutes every 3 hours. Maximum 3 times to total 12 pills. She was also told that once the centre of the pill was exposed i.e. The misoprostol was absorbed, to remove the second part of the pills, diclofenaco.

Problem being that minimal bleeding was encountered after eventually taking 19 pills. Yes we understand that it is over the prescribed dosage. However very little effects were encountered.

Now, we have received and taken mifrogyne. 36 hours later she has taken again arthrotec 50. Dosage 3 pills under the tongue and one more an hour later.

Can you please explain why these pills are having virtually zero effect on the pregnancy? Should she be consuming the entire pills?

42 days since last period. Since I asked the question she has also taken 2 pills orally (one hour apart) and one in the vagina.
