Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well looking into your problem and having seen your reports there is no major concern as yet except for platelets . If it would have been less then 1 lakh then would have required evaluation . At present I will suggest you to repeat the count after 2 weeks to see the status of platelets . If it will be still low a peripheral smear would be required . As if now it would not be appropriate to give much weightage to it because it is a machine result , low platelet count has to be confirmed by manual evaluation also.

If you had any viral illness in recent time it can also be a cause for your platelets to be low most commonly .

Take care.

Thanks. Any clarity on lymphocytes. In a five year old test in 2009 they came at 47, and this time they are 41. Different labs.

Don't think I had any viral in the recent days, but last month has been very stressful.
Thanks

Dear Sir,

I dont think your lymphocytes are significantly raised for any concern . All you need is to repeat the test and look for the pattern.
