Question: Hi there 4 days ago I suffered a weird experience where I was out walking my dog and became incredibly light headed and blurred vision I managed to get back home and decided to have a lay down, I woke up roughly 2 hours after and it was as if my head was I slow motion but my chest was beating really hard that night I wasn't really able to focus my eyes properly or stand up. Since then I felt tired all day with my eyes still watery and sore and have had episodes of shakey hands and generally ache all over which I've not been able to control. I have started to take iron tablets from the chemist but to be honest not much has changed.
Thank k.

Brief Answer:
These symptoms indicate transient ischemic attacks.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

I reviewed your history.

The symptoms you have mentioned in the form of light headedness, blurred vision, not able to stand up, not able to focus.... indicate episodes of transient ischemic attack.
The common causes that needs to be looked are systemic causes like hypotension, hypoglycemia, hypovolvemia, anemia, vascular diseases resulting in decreased blood supply.

Taking iron tablets will not be of help in this condiiton.
We need to look for underlying causes like hypotension, hypoglycemia, hypovolemia and need to correct them if present.

You need to consult your primary care physician for evaluation to find out any of the above causes and treatment accordingly.

Please provide me more details, your age, presence of any of the systemic problems like diabetes, hypertension..., so that I can advice you more accurately.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
Postural hypotension can cause this problem.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

Since you are young and you give history of positional hypertension (I guess it is postural hypotension)
Postural hypotension can cause symptoms like this as I had mentioned in my previous reply.

Hence I advice you to consult your GP for evaluation to look for underlying cause and treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.
