What Does Lesion In The Scrotum Indicate?
Question: I've had tonsillitis and I noticed a small, painful, shiny, clear pus filled pimple or cyst looking thing around a hair follicle on my scrotum. I attempted to pop it and now it is bigger and white. Could this be the infection?

The lesion in the scrotum suggests infection. Since it is around hair follicle the most probable cause is hair follicle infection.
Usually the lesion will resolve on its own if you maintain good hygine and topical antiseptics. Since with handlhandling the size is increased and pus filled, apply warm compression, keep the area clean and apply local antibiotics like fusidate or neosporin cream. This will help you. Don't handle the lesion.
If very painful then needs intervention to remove pus.
For tonsillitis do regular salt water gargle and antibiotics may be required.
Taking anti inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen will help in reducing symptoms of both tonsillitis and hair follicle infection.
