What Does Itching On The Male Nipples Suggest?
Question: Thanks so much for following up. My husband visited our doctor and she ordered a mammo. Today he had a male mammo and after they viewed the screens they ordered an ultrasound. They did not give him results directly but said they said they will send his report to his doctor by tomorrow. He has not had any subsequent discharge and the nipples still itch from time to time.

We could always expect the better- inflammatory changes only.
The chances of breast cancer are very very rare in males.
Since both the nipples were itchy and one breast showed discharge, the diagnosis goes in favor of inflammation.
Is there any palpable lump in the breasts?
Any swelling noticeable?
If no swelling or lump we can expect the best.
If the lump is there go for excision biopsy immediately to get the correct diagnosis.
