Brief Answer: Have you rechecked your lipid levels.... Detailed Answer: Dear XXXX As I understand you have had high triglyceride values of 250mg/dl for last 3 years without medicines. High triglyceride numbers have gradual effect on arteries, heart and brain and I am happy that you have no major concerns. But I would definitely want you to include measures to bring those numbers down. However I would like to confirm the current triglyceride numbers. Please confirm the current triglyceride numbers. It would also be better if you can provide total cholesterol, LDL and HDL values too. Alternatively yYou can consider uploading the reports on this page using the site's uploader. Awaiting your reports... Regards

Brief Answer: I would start lipid lowering drugs... Detailed Answer: DearXXXX The numbers are not favorable ones. I would prefer to start you on lipid lowering drugs - combination of statin and fibrates such as tonact tg if there are no absolute contraindications. Discuss with your treating doctor about it. I wish you also continue a low calorie diet and exercises for better protection against cardiovascular complications. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications. Regards
