What Does High WBC Count Indicate?

Question: I started In January with a white as high as 16,000 without any obvious signs of infection or just feeling sick. It has gradually come down to11,000. But now for the last 10 days I have had a low grade fever(99.2 to 100.8)breaking 101 one time. I have previously been diagnosed with triennial neuroligia. Can these recent events be related to the trigeminal neuromyalgia

High readings of white blood cells indicate a source of infection in your body and has nothing to do with trigeminal neuralgia. Unless, the infection is located inside your brain, at the site where it enters the brain stem (which is very uncommon). Trigeminal neuralgia is caused by pressure on this part (where it enters the brain stem) that might be blood vessels or other underlying causes. Infection is very common in type 2 diabetes, and is hard to get it eradicated. Please follow your doctor's advice and take medications as prescribed on regular basis. Hope it answered to your query!
