Brief Answer: Please find detailed answer below Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX Thanks for writing in to us. Nplate (Romiplostim) is only used if your low platelet count and medical condition increase your risk of bleeding. Nplate is used to try to keep your platelet count about 50,000 per microliter in order to lower the risk for bleeding. Nplate is not used to make your platelet count normal. You may need to discuss with your treating doctor, further measures to be taken to restore your platelet count within normal limits. Hope your query is answered. Do let me know how I may help you further with your queries. Do write back if you have any doubts. Regards, Dr.Vivek
