Question: ive had 14 surgeries or more in few years last one this month. I suffer malabsorbtion ans malnutrition. I am told I tested positive for methamphetamine, I take dexadrine, seraquill, cymbaltal, every allergy pills made, merinol THC gels, Xanax, morphine sulfate dilaudid, oxycodone, and more than a dozen more with additional OTC meds because I have such little intestine and limited absorbation how could I test pos for methamphetamine when I KNOW I do not take such drugs ever.

Positive test for methamphetamine is due to dexadrine intake.
Dexedrine contains Dextroamphetamine. It is dextro form of amphetamine.
It reaches peak plasma level within 1-2 hr & are rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.
Dextromphetamine is eliminated via the kidneys,30–40% of the drug being excreted unchanged at normal urinary pH.
It is usually eliminated within two days of the last oral dose.Apparent half-life and duration of effect increase with repeated use and accumulation of the drug.

So,positive test for methamphetamine is related to dexadrine intake.
