Brief Answer: Please find detailed answer below Detailed Answer: Hi XXXX Thanks for writing in to us. Your continuous uterine bleeding needs to be investigated completely investigated. Saline infusion sonohysterography (SIS) refers to a procedure in which fluid is instilled into the uterine cavity transcervically to provide enhanced endometrial visualization during transvaginal ultrasound examination. I have come across patients who have had similar problems and on ultrasound small endometrial polyps have been found. The endometrial thickness varies with the time of the cycle and 16.1 mm appears on the higher side of normal. It is important to know the presence of the endometrial polyp with accuracy and hence SIS has been advised. Hope your query is answered. Do write back if you have any doubts. Regards, Dr Vivek

please see my upload. I wasn't that worry but for some reason I have been thinking a lot lately. I have gone to the doctors several time and they just tell it's nothing and not to worry that it's probably nothing. I know that I'm not going threw pre-menopausel due to my blood results. I have been very tired all I want to do is sleep and been very weak also. I have had night sweats and very weak. I go to work and when I get home a will always have to take a nap. I have gone to the doctors and explained about my weakness and was told that it's probably due to all the bleeding. I have back pain I cant have intercourse due to pain also when I do I will bleed the next day. Also when I go to the bathroom to pee it has a very bad smell. Could this be cancer? Blood work was good that's what I was told. I have never use any protection during intercourse and doctors told me that I was probably not ovulating. I do have a lot of craps with sever pain and during my period. the pain sometimes is do intents that I wake during the night not being able to get up. Or I get you with bad craps that I only have time to go to the bedroom where I will start to bleed very heavily

Brief Answer: Please find detailed answer below Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing in with an update. Your cervix and ovaries are fine. It is the suspected endometrial polyp which requires confirmation. Increased bleeding can be due to the polyp. The cramps you are experiencing is due to the contractions of uterus which is happening more frequently because of the polyp. Endometrial cancer I s less likely and will be ruled out clinically after doing further investigations. Hope your query is answered. Do write back if you have any doubts. Regards, Dr.Vivek
